I wanted to go windsurfing today, but it was so miserable this morning with a gusty and not particularly strong southerly wind that i decided to leave it until the wind swung around a little more to the West and hopefully the rain eased.

By 1pm it was still pouring with rain, so I decided to go surfing instead. The surf wasn't great and the wind started swinging around as soon as I got in the water, but my 'little fish' was doing its thing and I had a few good slashy rides in the messy surf. leigh was out there doing his usual 360's, and Harvey was there too. I stayed in for a couple of hours, by which time the wind was now almost dead westerly and the rain had stopped.

By 3.30pm the wind had swung to NW, the sun had come out (sort of) and it was howling at 25 knots+.... Maybe I should have waited and gone windsurfing after all... Although I would only have had an hour on the water if I had.
